Denis O’Sullivan had a tough second round in Wales today, the first round leader had two double bogies on the back nine but he finished with a birdie on the 18th to leave himself tied for 5th on level par.  The three over par 73 leaves O’Sullivan four shots off the lead, Ian Woosnam holds a share of the lead thanks to 66 in the second round 66.

O’Sullivan equalled his age yesterday with a three under par 67.  He carded six birdies on Roman Road course in Celtic Manor to tie for the first round lead.  The popular Cork man is playing in his 290th event on the European Seniors Tour, having first qualified for the Tour at Seniors Qualifying in 1997.
