Cleary wins Munster Seniors

Cork’s Tom Cleary captured his second Munster Seniors Amateur Open in Thurles today, although it took a seven hole play-off to separate the top three. Although he won the title in 2009, Cleary suffered a play-off defeat last year as Arthur Pierce won when the championship was held in Cleary’s home course of Cork GC. Continue reading
Sugrue & Tobin in Fairhaven Trophy

James Sugrue and Paul Tobin represented Ireland last week in the Fairhaven Trophy with Sugrue leading the Irish charge. The competition is one of the leading international scratch competitions for juniors and attracts a field of almost 150 golfers from across Europe.
