Charleville CBS win North Cork Schools

North Cork SchoolsThe North Cork Schools’ Championship that took place in Mallow Golf Club yesterday. This years winners were Charleville CBS who won by two shots from Davis College, Mallow on a gross score of 236.  The format was a four man team with the best three gross scores to count.  The best nett individual prize was won by Greg Barrett (Davis College) with 69 nett off four handicap.  This was also the best gross score on the day.  The Charleville team consisted of Johnathan O’Brien, Cathal O’Carroll, Santiago JuanQuera and Jordan Boles and were managed by Niall Corcoran.  The event was organised by Eoghan Long.

Davis College Mallow won the North Cork Schools Senior Golf Championship last week after an entertaining day’s golf in Mallow Golf Club.  There were five post primary schools in action, and the event was sponsored by Conway Golf (Mallow Golf Club). Continue reading →
