Brennan takes Muskerry Scratch Cup back to Clare

Daniel Brenan from Shannon won the Muskerry Senior Scratch Cup on Sunday after an impressive comeback on the back nine.  While many were watching Shane Lowry triumph over the links and the opposition in Doonbeg, there was a more exciting finish in Muskerry as one of the last senior scratch cups of the year was up for grabs.

Blarney’s Seamus Cronin is planning to play golf in all 32 counties this Autumn to raise funds for Marymount.

Cork man Seamus Cronin is setting out on a golfing marathon this weekend, he’s planning to play 32 courses over the next few weeks, one course in every county in the country.  And on that journey he’s hoping to raise a large amount for Marymount Hospice.

Douglas Managers Celebrate

Douglas team managers Deirdre O’Sullivan and Don Coughlan praised their teams as Douglas did the double-double in Belfast last weekend, winning two national titles.

“Stunned, delighted, proud, unbelievable” was Deirdre O’Sullivan’s response to Douglas’ three-peat in the Women’s Senior Cup.  Douglas had two major battles in the quarter and semi finals but they finished the final in style with a comprehensive win over Knock.
