Cobh are launching a massive open week which starts on Thursday next. As well as several singles competitions, there are mixed, fourball and Seniors events.

Open Week Begins at Fota Island
Open week at Fora Island gets underway tomorrow, and although the week has been heaving booked there may be some late availability or cancellations for anyone hoping to get out on the the 2014 Irish Open Championship course.

Fota Island Open Week July 25th to 30th :
Monday 25th – (Senior Over 55’s) Team of 4 – €100 per team
Tuesday 26th – Ladies Team of 3 – €105 per team
Wednesday 27th – Open Fourball – €40 per golfer
Friday 29thand Saturday 30th – Open Singles – €50 per golfer
All competitions will be played on The Deerpark Course.
Raffeen Creek Open Week Fixtures
Raffeen Creek are running their annual open week next week. The course in Raffeen is in great condition and was a worthy test last week when it staged the area final of the Pierce Purcell Shield. The competitions start on Saturday with open singles and entry for visitors is just €10. A variety of competitions are scheduled for the week and times are available from 8am to 5pm each day.

Saturday 18th: Singles Stableford
Sunday 19th: Fourball
Monday 20th: Ladies 3 Person Team
Tuesday 21st: 3 Person Rumble (Ladies/Gents or combination teams)
Wednesday 22nd: Singles Stroke
Thursday 23rd: June Singles Stableford
Friday 24th: 4 Person Team (Ladies/Gents or combination teams).

Fota’s Corporate Golf Challenge
After a successful first year, Fota have launched the 2015 Inter-Company golf challenge. The format is the same as last year, it’s an eight person team event playing singles stableford. The top five scores are counted and the top four companies go forward to the series final in Continue reading
