Monkstown’s Cian McNamara followed yesterday’s good performance with another one today to record his second successive top five finish.

McNamara was in Delgany today and carded a one under par 68, including five birdies.  Wayne O’Callaghan (Fernhill Golf & Country Club) shot a level par 69 for a share for 10th place.  Neil O’Briain won the event that was in aid of th Down Syndrome Centre, he shot a three under 66 to win by one shot.

Yesterday Cian was in action in Bunclody where he carded seven birdies on his way to a two under par 70 for a 4th place finish.
